Lisa completed her Master of Science Degree from the Department of Counselor Education & Educational Psychology at Mississippi State University in 1993.She completed post-graduate course work at both the University of Memphis and the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Mississippi since 1997. She has been a National Certified Counselor though the National Board for Certified Counselors since 1995. She is a member of the Mississippi Counseling Association. She has worked as a therapist in both private and non profit settings for nearly 20 years. She has also presented at State conferences and to general audiences speaking on the value of Animal Assisted Therapies.
Lisa provides individual psychotherapy (generally aged 14 & up) and marriage/ family counseling. Her areas of practice and special interest include:

Lisa strives to develop a therapeutic relationship with her clients that encourages exploration, insight, and growth to provide them with the skills and confidence they need to improve the quality of their lives.
